Sharmila is for only major programmes -Jagan

YS Jagan held a 11-member adhoc Telangana state committee meeting at his residence yesterday. Majority of T leaders strongly suggested Jagan to hand over party in Telangana to his sister Sharmila and explained how the party is suffering in the Telangana state with out even setting up committees. However Jagan Mohan Reddy did not commit on Sharmila’s leadership but he said Ms Sharmila Reddy will attend any major programmes in Telangana. He also clarified that Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivasula Reddy will continue to act as committee convenor.

When Jagan said he can ask Sharmila if they plan any major event, leaders who attended the meeting made it clear that it will only help if there is a dedicated leadership like Ms Sharmila Reddy to take care of the party in the state. But reports say Jagan is not convinced and repeatedly gave them the same answer that Srinivasula Reddy will continue to act as in charge of the party affairs in Telangana.
