In a shocking news, US military’s Central Command was evidently hacked by Islamic State sympathisers (ISIS). Hackers changed the background image and profile photo with militant phrases “CyberCaliphate” and “i love you isis,”
After hacking Centcom Twitter account hackers posted threatening messages to American troops. One of their Tweet reads “American soldiers, We are coming, Watch your back ISIS.” Another message said “ISIS is already here, we are in your PCs, in each military base.
They have also leaked some sensitive information about military scenarios involving China and North Korea, as well as posting addresses and telephone numbers for high-positioning US military officials.
US has brought down these accounts immediately and the officials are on their toes to find out how they got hold off the most sensitive information. This came as a shocker as President Barack Obama was preparing a major speech on Cyber security.
