Famous Bollywood Film maker Subash Ghai had evinced his interest in starting an international film institute in the proposed film city in Telangana. Subash Ghai met IT Minister K T Rama Rao the other day and explained him about the plans of the international film institute

KTR explained him the film city plans of the government and asked him to plan the International film institute there. To which Subash Ghai immediately agreed. KTR promised him all possible help from the state government if they come up with concrete proposals.
KTR also invited him to partner in the Gaming city proposed by the Telangana government. The proposed film city in Rachakonda is facing some land acquisition problems there and the state government is currently in negotiations with the locals solving the land issues.
