Supreme Court reopening several old wounds!

Supreme Court finally announced all the coal allocations between 1993 and 2010 as ‘illegal’. The decision comes as jolt to every one from the Congress, BJP, Bureaucracy during those years and the Supreme court. The time span pins down both the BJP and Congress as culprits with Congress getting more blame as its Prime Minister at one time himself handled the Coal Ministry.

That does not end there, the verdict also come as a slap to several bureaucrats worked in that time line and Supreme court itself which remained blind for good 21 years with out curbing the ‘illegal’ allocations for years together. This case now being handled by CBI will either fall flat due to power politics or put the entire system naked in front of the nation. However experts welcome this move as conserving and making best use of non renewable sources like coal is a top priority of the decade. The Epic judgement by the Supreme court had already started showing up coal problems to various ongoing projects across the country.
