Suspense on Nandhyala By-Poll with Bhuma’s Sudden Demise

Nandhyala seat which is now vacant due to the sudden demise of Bhuma Nagi Reddy will face a peculiar situation. After 2014 elections, TDP and YSR Congress are co-operating each other for unanimous election of kith and kin of any demised MLAs.

But then Nandhyala poses a peculiar situation. Nandhyala is technically a seat of YSR Congress but Bhuma is in TDP via defection. YSR Congress will naturally lay stake on this seat saying that it is their own seat since they oppose defections.

TDP on the other side, will not accept that since Bhuma is in TDP. Amid all this, it has to be seen if TDP and YSR Congress will field their candidates and ensure an election. If both the parties manage to field strong candidates from the Bhuma family, it will be an interesting contest.
