Suspense on for Two More Weeks About Jagan’s Bail

The Counsel of Jagan Mohan Reddy today filed the Counter in CBI’s Petition to Cancel the Opposition Leader’s Bail. The CBI Court admitted the Counter and posted the further arguments in the case on 21st of this month. That will mean that the suspense about Jagan’s future will continue for two more weeks.

10 days ago, CBI approached the CBI court to cancel the bail of YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Corruption Cases. CBI alleged that Jagan is trying to influence the witnesses in the case. It cited the example of Former CS Ramakanth Reddy’s interview in Sakshi.

The investigating agency asked the court to cancel the conditional bail of Jagan and give him to its custody. Jagan with the help of Sakshi is trying to influence the case with the comments Ramakanth Reddy made in the interview.

Going back to jail at this time will be very dangerous for YSR Congress. Previously Jagan Mohan Reddy spent 16 months in jail before the 2014 elections. On the other side, ED has also conducted raids on some of the shell companies of Jagan to know their modus operandi. With all this, YSR Congress is feeling suffocated.
