Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar seem to be on a salary increasing spree for politicians. Couple of months ago, he introduced a special allowance to MPs even though they do not come under purview of the state government and now he is increasing the salaries of local body people’s representatives. This increase is very huge like never before and experts see this move as to strengthen TRS right from the grass root level. This new salaries will come in to effect from April 1st. ZP Chairman – One Lakh per month – Earlier 7500 PM
ZPTCs – 10000 PM – Earlier 2250 PM
MPP – 10000 PM – Earlier 1500 PM
MPTCs and Sarpanch – 5000 PM – Earlier 1000 PM
Mayor – 50000 PM – Earlier 14000 PM
Deputy Mayor – 25000 PM – Earlier 8000PM
Corporators – 6000PM – Earlier 4000PM
Special Grade Municipal Chairman – 15000 PM – Earlier 10000 PM
