The competition for the Chairman Posts of various temples in Andhra Pradesh has begun as the Chief Minister gears up to fill them up. It is more or less confirmed that TDP leader Chadalawada Krishna Murthy will be getting the Chairman post of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. Since the post is going to TDP, the party’s alliance partner, BJP is pitching up for the Chairman post of Kanaka Durga Temple, Vijayawada which is the second richest temple in the state.
Since Tirupati is going for TDP, BJP is asking the Chief Minister to allot them this post which suddenly gains prominence as the state capital is going to be formed near to it. However there is a great demand for this post within TDP itself since many leaders are vying for it as they came to power after a long time. A well-known builder of this area Veeramachaneni Ranga Prasad is leading the race for the Top post with the blessings of Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu.
We are also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah have been recommending couple of candidates for the Board members of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam adding to the pressure on Chandrababu.
