TDP state secretary K Srinivasa Rao and other TDP leaders submitted a complaint against ex minister Karumuri Nageswara Rao to Guntur West division DSP Aravind.
In a party meeting held on April 8, Karumuri spoke instigating words that have created political tensions among netizens.

To quote Karumuri – Guntur ivatala unde TDP nayakulu, karyakartalani intlonchi lagi kodatam. Guntur avatala unde vaarini nariki padestamu. (We will pull out TDP leaders and workers from their houses and beat them on this side of Guntur. We will axe those on the other side of Guntur).
The TDP leaders said such statements are likely to set in motion spiteful acts. They requested the DSP to take Karumuri into control and take strict action.

Ever since Karumuri made those comments, they have given rise to heightened tensions within TDP and the cadre are spitting fire.
Though their party got 11 seats in 2024, Karumuri made big claims that YSRCP would come to power next term. Already there are complaints that YS Jagan is speaking in a manner to create tensions among various sections of people.
