
The Whip states that all the members of the party should be in the house for the session and should vote against the bill. The whip is also issued to the Rebel MLA, Vallabhaneni Vamsi as well. The party also issued whip to its MLCs to vote against it in the Council.
This will prove if there are any black sheep in the party. The likes of Ganta Srinivasa Rao who are yet to attend the Assembly will need to clarify their stance now. It has to be seen how Uttarandhra MLAs of the party vote. TDP has the majority in the council and can stall the bill if all its members obey the party’s order.
It has to be seen if the ruling party will try to attract a few MLCs from TDP to ensure the safe passage of the bill. It may be noted that anyone defying a party’s whip on the floor of the house will be disqualified.
