The political landscape of Andhra Pradesh has heated up as the general elections are just a month away. As always, social media will play a crucial role in deciding a party’s fate in the polls.
Thus, all parties in the state are using social media extensively to attract people to vote for them. After the Telugu Desam Party made an alliance with Jana Sena, the cadre gained dominance on social media.
The leadership of TDP-JSP came to know that rival party leaders were resorting to making threatening phone calls in an attempt to harass their social media supporters legally, using power.
Hence, both parties have set up legal cells to assist their social media supporters. These supporters are instructed not to respond if contacted by the police for questioning.
Additionally, a helpline number has been launched for supporters to contact if they receive any warnings from the cops. The helpline number is 7306299999.
TDP and JSP have taken social media seriously this time and are doing their best to safeguard their social media warriors.
