TDP politburo member Reddappagari Srinivasa Reddy alleged that YSRCP chief and ex-CM Jagan was running business activities in Karnataka with illegal money. He questioned whether Jagan was Kadapa bidda or Karnataka bidda and criticised his current lifestyle.
He said Jagan now lives in Karnataka for days together while depending on Andhra Pradesh only for power. Srinivasa Reddy questioned what Jagan achieved for Kadapa during his five-year rule. He claimed Jagan was jealous of the Chandrababu government’s efforts to bring investments. He added that Jagan was expressing his frustration by pushing fake stories through Sakshi.
Jagan moved to Bengaluru after the people of Andhra Pradesh restricted him to 11 seats. Srinivasa Reddy said Jagan was unable to face public shame and now runs his activities from Bengaluru. His absence in Andhra Pradesh has created discomfort among his cadre, who are questioning his style of functioning.
Even in Kadapa, once seen as his strong base, many YSRCP members have shifted to the TDP. They say the change happened because of their satisfaction with CM Chandrababu Naidu’s governance. Jagan’s distance from the state continues to damage his image among supporters.
