With the demise of Munikoti who self immolated himself with Petrol with Special Status demand, Special Status issue is rocking Andhra Pradesh. TDP MPs have given a notice in Parliament and are demanding it to be taken for discussion immediately.
They are also likely to protest in the house on the issue. On the other side, YSR Congress is holding a dharna in Delhi on this issue. Congress which do not want to leave behind is trying to politicize Munikoti’s death.
Chiranjeevi and all other Congress leaders went to Chennai to bring his body to Tirupati and will be completing the final rites in the presence of the party leaders. The centre is likely to feel the heat on the issue as people believe it is trying to do politics with their lives and the future of the state.
Update: Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan disallows all notices of adjournment in Parliament today which also includes the notices of TDP and YSR Congress MPs.
