TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu will hand over B-forms to all MP and MLA candidates today. Meanwhile, we now hear that contestants might be changed in four or five constituencies.
According to the sources, the party’s high command is planning to change candidates in Undi, Paderu, Madugula, Madakashira and Venkatagiri constituencies.
Reportedly, former minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, former MLA Giddi Eeshwari and SC-cell leader MS Raju discussed the matter with Chandrababu earlier today at his residence.
It is being heard that the Undi ticket will be given to Raghu Rama Krishna Raju. Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy may get the Madugula ticket. He regularly contests from the Pendurthi constituency but as that ticket was given to Jana Sena this time, Satyanarayana Murthy had to shift to Madugula.
Giddi Eshwari may get the Paderu ticket and MS Raju might secure the Madakashira ticket. Venkatagiri ticket was earlier given to former MLA Kurugondla Ramakrishna’s daughter Lakshmi Priya. However, we now hear that Ramakrishna himself will contest for that seat.
According to the sources, TDP may put Dendaluru and Thamballapalle B-forms on hold. These forms are expected to be provided once there is clarity regarding the Anaparthy seat.
As of now, Anaparthy is given to the BJP as a part of the alliance. It is heard that former MLA Nallimilli Rama Krishna Reddy, who expected the TDP ticket for that seat, may join the BJP.
