TDP Wins 6 MLCs Without Election, Eyes YSRCP Seats

Telugu Desam Party had managed to win Six MLC Seats unanimously. Candidates from East Godavari, West Godavari (2), Anantapur, Chittoor and Srikakulam districts managed to win without election. That will ensure that there is competition between TDP and YSR Congress in Nellore, Kadapa and Kurnool.

Several ZPTCs and MPTCs of YSR Congress have shifted to TDP making the contest in these three places very interesting. All eyes are on Kadapa MLC where Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Vivekananda Reddy is contesting. Both the parties have taken these elections Prestigious.

YSR Congress is tempted to field candidates in a couple of places to cash the group fights in TDP at places but then resisted the temptation to play the sentiment card that TDP is trying to be unjust by fielding candidates in places where they do not have the majority.
