Telugu Desam Party is mourning the loss of its Senior activist, Namburi Seshagiri Rao.
Seshagiri Rao has become popular across the Telugu States after he courageously confronted and tried stop Former MLA Pinnelli Rama Krishna Reddy from breaking an EVM at Palvai Gate Pooling Booth.
The Heroics of Seshagiri Rao were out when the CCTV Footage of Pinnelli breaking the EVM went viral in the media and the social media. He was the Agent in the booth that day.
Seshagiri Rao, who gained recognition across the state with this single incident, passed away on Sunday morning.
It is reported that he died of a heart attack.
CM Chandrababu expressed grief over the death of Seshagiri Rao.
Chandrababu said that it is sad to lose a warrior who rebelled against the YSRCP anarchy and fought heroically when they were in the opposition.
He believed that Seshagiri Rao’s rebellion against rowdy and factional politics with the yellow flag would always be an inspiration to every worker and leader.
He said that even if Seshagiri Rao is not there, the party will always remember his fighting spirit in the Macherla constituency.
CM Chandrababu made it clear that the Telugu Desam Party will always stand by his family.
