With the Telangana elections under 2 months from now, the stage is being prepared for the same with the leading political parties devising their strategies.
In this context, noted Telangana media man, Teenmar Mallanna, who turned famous with his anti-KCR stance has now become one of the talking points.
Mallanna has been announced as the CM candidate by All India Forward Block Party. He is reportedly being projected as the face of this party which intends to contest in all 119 seats in Telangana.
Mallanna’s aim is to contest as an independent candidate from the Medchal assembly constituency and get the support of the Congress party as an outward ally. He even held talks with Congress regarding the same but there was no affirmative response from the party.
Now, Mallanna is also said to be tempted by the CM candidature post given by the Forward Block Party. But he is said to be waiting for Congress’s response to his proposal for their support while he contests as independent candidate from Medchal. If the Congress plan falls apart, he could take the other offer.
While Mallanna has been managing to grasp the attention in Telangana politics with anti-KCR statements, will he actually be able to convert this into electoral gains?
