Surprisingly, Delhi ranked 10th with just 1.18 crore cases, representing 3% of total IMFL consumption. Despite its vibrant nightlife, the national capital trailed behind states like West Bengal and Rajasthan in liquor sales.

As per data from the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking, IMFL consumers are predominantly high-income, literate males. While no exact figure is available, IMFL continues to account for a major portion of India’s liquor market.
