In 2020, Revanth Reddy filed a petition asking the Court to strike down the case, saying it was a case filed due to political vengeance. On June 20th, arguments ended on both sides. At the time, the Court reserved its hearing. Now, it has given its judgement.

The Court said that Revanth Reddy was not present there when the incident happened. The Court further said that no proper proofs were provided by the complainant.
