TV9, one of the major News channels is always tilted towards the BRS Party. My Home Rameshwar Rao and Megha Krishna Reddy are the major stakeholders in TV9.
Megha has been getting most contracts in Telangana under KCR‘s rule including the costliest and most prestigious Kaleshwaram Project.
Medigadda Barage of Kaleshwaram Project got cracks in eight pillars last week bringing doubts over the dam safety. The Opposition is naturally targeting BRS saying that Kaleshwaram is a design flaw and is a massive corruption.
A Central Committee on Dam Safety is already investigating it.
“If Congress wins Telangana, for sure there will be a detailed investigation on Kaleshwaram Project. They will try everything to pin down KCR and that will obviously trouble everyone including Megha Krishna Reddy. So TV9 has taken this election seriously,” Congress leaders are alleging.
The other day, TV9 has aired a special interview of KTR with Jayaprakash Narayan. “This is a clear attempt to influence the educated users. We have seen KTR egging JP to abuse Congress as well in the interview,” they say.
TV9 had already lost its Number One position to NTV for the same reason. But then, this is an issue of existence.
