Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka emphasized the government’s strong commitment to supporting teachers. Speaking at a Teacher’s Day event held at Ravindra Bharati in Hyderabad, he presented awards to 41 outstanding teachers in recognition of their excellence. During the event, Bhatti mentioned that the state would provide free electricity to government-run educational institutions.

“All the 27,862 government educational institutions in the state would receive free electricity. Revanth Reddy wanted to attend this event and make the announcement but since he is busy reviewing the flood-related issues, I am here to make the announcement,” he said.

“Our education system is not fully aligned with the demands of modern industries. The state’s education system still requires change. We are establishing a Skill University aimed at enhancing students’ skills. The government will also upgrade ITIs. We want to equip students to compete globally,” said Bhatti Vikramarka.




Bhatti also praised the efforts of teachers to shape the lives of students. He also appreciated the commitment of teachers in supporting the government when they introduced English as the medium of instruction as a pilot project.
