Telangana government is going on with its ‘always no strategy’ to anything done by AP government. Telangana government had written an objection letter to Godavari River Management board objecting the construction of Pattiseema Project planned by Andhra Pradesh government.
It is said that Telangana government told the board that AP government should have got the project approved by the board before taking up it but AP had gone till calling tenders.
Telangana government asked the board to take Telangana experts in to Pattiseema construction panel and build the project after both the state come to an understanding. Pattiseema Lift irrigation project is a 1300 Crore project to make use of 80 TMC water which is going waste to bay of Bengal every year.
However experts say Telangana government will have no business with Pattiseema project as it is being constructed on the river end after Godavari flows out of Telangana during the time of floods. We will have to see what the board decides!
