Telangana Govt Proves Different Than All Other Governments

More than half of the Globe is confined to indoors due to an invisible enemy. Governments are trying their level best to contain the damage. As a result of businesses being closed, there are no incomes for the Governments. So they are resorting to loans.

While most Governments are confined only to regular administration and Corona combat measures, very few governments are looking to mint Votes in this crisis. However, Telangana Government is proving to be completely different. While Corona Combat Measures are going on, the Government is silently undertaking some crucial infrastructure projects.

Projects like Flyovers, Road Repairs, Junction Repairs, Laying of New Roads, Repair of Storm Water Drains, Beautification have picked pace during the Lockdown. Usually, these works happen only during nights and works either stop or make very less progress during the day since there is a huge traffic congestion on roads.

The Lockdown means Zero traffic on road and the work is progressing at a brisk pace. Municipal Minister K Taraka Ramarao is taking personal interest on these projects and pursuing the contractors to finish the works. As a result, several projects are much ahead of their schedule. The funding is not a problem as these projects have allocations earlier and funding through external agencies.
