Telangana HC Undergoes Remarkable Change

In July 2023, the Supreme Court underwent a transformation, adopting a paperless and tech-driven setup. This change also ushered in free WiFi access for advocates, litigants, and visitors.

Now, the Telangana High Court is set to follow suit, with plans to transition to a paperless system commencing on November 1. This initiative stems from the directive of the Chief Justice, and an official notice has been issued to this effect.

The notice advises all learned advocates and parties-in-person to adapt to the forthcoming paperless mode, effective from November 1. They are encouraged to email digital copies of their cases or applications prior to submitting hard copies to the new filing section.

It’s worth noting that this paperless approach does not entirely eliminate the use of books and papers. While physical books and papers will no longer be the primary means of documentation, the courts will still rely on these traditional resources, albeit in a reduced capacity.

The designated email address for the Telangana High Court in its new paperless system is tshc.th1@gmail.com.
