Telangana High Court’s Scathing Remarks on KCR Government

Telangana High Court has made some serious comments with respect to the State Government’s handling of the Coronavirus Crisis. “Telangana Citizens are being deprived of their fundamental right to life,” the High Court said which is a very serious statement from the court.

“Stopping of Corona Tests is really surprising. The orders are against the norms of ICMR. It is appalling that the Government is trying to keep the citizens in dark with meager information in the medical bulletin. The bulletin should have ward-wise details of the Corona cases,” the court said.

The court ordered the Government to submit a detailed report about its containment zone policy, the details of tests conducted in the last 20 days, and the issues that surfaced in the Central teams’ visit. The court ordered the Government to implement its instructions by the 17th of this month.

“Our instructions should be implemented by 17th or Chief Secretary, Principal Health Secretary and other officials will have to come to court on 20th,” the court said.
