Telangana In Race For Ola Electric Cars Plant

Ola Electric Company is entering the field of electric car manufacturing and sales.

Apart from Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu are competing for this huge project with an investment of nearly Rs 10,000 crore.

It is estimated that at least 1000 acres of land will be required for this massive plant. The company is expected to decide on the location of the factory by June.

Ola Electric hopes to make history in the Indian electric vehicle market along the lines of the Tesla Company in the United States.

Ola Electric‌ hopes to pick a location as soon as possible and launch battery-powered cars in two to three years.

Ola Electric has already set up an electric two-wheeler plant on 500 acres at Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu.

Ola Electric is currently the top-selling eV two-wheeler in the country.

The company hopes to create a similar trend in the case of four-wheelers. The company has already developed some models for this.
