Telangana I-Day Celebration Under the Biggest Flag?

Telangana government had celebrated the Independence day eve for the last two years at Golconda fort. The venue may be changed this year. The Chief Minister is in favour of having the event at Sanjeevaiah Park where the CM unfurled the biggest National Flag ever in the country earlier in June.

The Chief Minister is of the opinion that it will be meaningful if the event is celebrated there under the flag. The CM instructed officials to examine the possibilities. However things may be little tough as the plants and bushes in the park may have to be cleared to create space for the event.

For the last two years, the government had decided not to have tableau exhibition due to space constraints. Probably it will also be the case with Sanjeevaiah Park as well. The final decision of the venue for the Independence day celebrations will be taken very soon.
