Telangana’s Initiative Becomes Example for Other States

She Teams can be termed as one of the biggest Successes of Telangana Government so far as it is showing visible results in Ground Zero. According to the records with Hyderabad Police, there is a reduction of around 20 percent in the harassment of women in the city after the SHE Team was launched.

Yogi Adityanadh’s government in Uttar Pradesh formed an Anti-Romeo Squad in the state to curb eve-teasing. The concept is almost similar to SHE Teams and Telangana leaders like KT Ramarao and Nayini Narasimha Reddy are claiming that Uttar Pradesh got a cue from Telangana and the claim that their initiative is showing a direction to the country.

On the other side, the government is also contemplating to introduce a chapter about SHE Teams in the intermediate curriculum in Telangana to increase the awareness in people. This will be also useful in educating the people about the necessity to respect women.
