Earlier this week, BJP nominated Yogi Aditya Nath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. National Media gave the appointment a communal colour as BJP ignored all the elected MLAs and put up an MP as the Chief Minister just to rake Hindu sentiment.

Now, one more communal issue will crop up very soon as Telangana as gearing up to introduce a bill which mandates 12% Reservations to Muslims in the State. Already BJP MLAs protested against this decision and suspended from the house.
This 12% Reservation to Muslims will increase the Reservations by more than the mandated 50% quota and TRS government will be obviously throwing the issue into center’s court to bring a constitutional amendment to bypass the restriction.
NDA government’s response on this issue will be closely observed by the National Media and the issue will obviously take communal colour. In such case, the relations between Narendra Modi and K Chandrasekhara Rao will be stained and 2019 will be interesting.
