Telangana restarts Power Production in Srisailam!

KCR-Telangana-Srisailam-DamThe Srisailam power issue seem to be far from being over. Telangana state stopped the power production on Sunday night as per the instructions of Krishna River Management Board. We do not what happened behind the scenes but the state had once again began producing power a day after. We are informed that 500 MW power is being generated from 4 turbines in the Srisailam Left Canal project.

On the other side, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has met the Governor of both the Telugu States, ESL Narasimhan and explained the ongoing controversy between both the states.

Water Resources minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao and other senior officials have gone to Delhi today meet the Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati and explain the ongoing issue. It is known that Telangana Water Resources minister Harish Rao and other Telangana officials met Uma Bharati yesterday on the same issue.
