Telangana Survey Analysis in full swing!

The data entry of the Intensive Household Survey of Telangana is complete and according to the data survey, total number of households in the 10 districts of Telangana are 1.058 crore and the population is about 3.61 crore. And now various departments of the government are busy in-correlating the survey data with the data of beneficiaries in the records of the government. 12 government departments, including civil supplies, housing, panchayat raj and rural development, and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) are busy in correlating the data and is in the process of weeding out the bogus beneficiaries.

Bogus ration cards, and old age and widow pensions are being identified by the civil supplies department while GHMC is focusing on the households and property owners evading tax over the years. It is also said that government has identified several bogus beneficiaries in the weaker housing scheme. Government is in the process of filing criminal cases on them and will also try to recover the benefited amount along with compensation from them. Government is also thinking to cancel all the existing ration cards and issue new ones very soon according to the collected data.
