Telangana Council Chairman Papireddy led this taking over drive. This move of Telangana government is expected to create new ire between both the states. This decision of Telangana government comes after the high courts ruling that all the assets of APSCHE will belong to Telangana.
However the high court did not mention about the sharing of existing offices for the next 10 years as specified by the Reorganization Act. Taking this loop hole as advantage, Telangana government took over all the buildings belonging to APSCHE. Andhra Pradesh government is likely to approach Supreme Court regarding this. Center may have to intervene in the time being to prevent any untoward incident.
