Southern Regional Load Dispatch Centre (SRLDC) has written a serious letter to the TSTransco about the multiple instances of sudden rise or fall in the loads on the Southern Grid from the Telangana State. Between November 12th and 24th, there are several such rise and fall of loads within minutes which is detrimental to the whole grid itself.
This disparities is mainly due to irregular distribution network and planning by the discoms. The state discoms are not adhering to load relief patterns and stagger agricultural loads due to the severe power crisis in the state.
The Southern Regional Power Committee threatened Telangana Transco to file a petition against the discoms before the Central Electricity Authority for penal action, as such instances amount to violation of Grid Code.
