MPs of both the Telugu States have put up an impressive show in the 16th Lok Sabha which finished two sessions so far. A study conducted by PRS India revealed that the average attendance of MPs in Parliament is 85% while AP and Telangana MPs average is at 80% and 82% respectively. Ram Mohan Naidu (TDP), Hari Babu (BJP), Kothapalli Geetha (YSRCP) and Konda Visweswara Reddy (TRS) have got 100% attendance. YS Avinash Reddy (YSRCP) has got the least attendance in AP Mps with 33% while Gutta Sukhender Reddy (Congress) has least in Telangana with 59%.
At the center, each MP participated in 7.4 discussions. AP MPs on an average participated in 4.8 while Telangana MPs participated in 7 discussions. Vinod (TRS) participated in 17 discussions, highest in Telangana while Galla Jayadev (TDP) participated in 13 discussions, highest in AP.
While coming to asking the questions, AP MPs have got an average of 37 and Telangana MPs have got an average of 38 questions. In AP, Kothapalli Geetha (YSRCP) asked highest 123 questions and in Telangana Asaduddin Owaisi (MIM) asked highest 162 questions.
