During their rule, many YCP ministers and leaders often made derogatory remarks against rival party leaders. Disregarding their respectable positions, they used abusive language against leaders of TDP and Jana Sena.

Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi were among those who made crass remarks against TDP leaders in the past.

Vamsi once made derogatory comments about TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s wife, Bhuvaneshwari. On the flip side, there are countless instances where Nani abused TDP leaders.

Both leaders lost in the recently held assembly elections. Meanwhile, tensions arose at their respective residences this afternoon.

TDP leaders pelted stones and threw eggs at Nani’s house in Gudivada. They raised slogans against Nani and demanded him to come out. The police intervened to control the situation.

They said they had come to congratulate Nani on his defeat. “In 2021, Kodali Nani challenged that he would quit politics if TDP wins the elections in 2024. Now, we demand you to come out of the house and explain your stance on that challenge,” said TDP leaders.

Similarly, tensions erupted at Vamsi’s house as well, in Vijayawada. TDP leaders tried to storm into his house but were stopped by the police. They said they would not leave Vamsi alone for the remarks he made against Bhuvaneshwari.
