Thanks to Twitter, Dhoni resigns as brand ambassador

A series of tweets from the past few weeks made the Indian cricket captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni resign to his post of brand ambassador of Amrapali builders and constructions in Noida.

Going into details, the unhappy residents who have purchased lands and flats from this company have been tagging Dhoni in all their unhappy tweets and forcing them to look into the matter with the company as he has been promoting it big time.

Left with no choice, Dhoni spoke to the management of Amrapali and decided to back off as the brand ambassador as it would spoil his image world wide. Even though this is quite normal for him to disassociate, reports suggest that Dhoni has lost several crores as loss because of terminating his contract in the middle.
