That Is An Invalid Argument Because Jagan Lied

All eyes are on what Jagan will do on the three capitals issue in the wake of the high court’s recent verdict. Minister Avanthi Srinivas has made a comment on the High Court’s verdict.

“We will respect the court’s verdict but at the same time, people’s verdict is also important. We will set up three capitals overcoming technical issues,” Avanthi said.

But then, the question is what people’s verdict Avanthi is talking about. Jagan did not mention three capitals in the campaign of the 2019 elections. He went to elections with the promise of developing Amaravati better than Chandrababu.

“If there is any people’s verdict, it is for Jagan developing Amaravati. Jagan lied about Amaravati in the election campaign. For that very reason, even farmers who have given their lands for the capital have voted for YSR Congress,” Amaravati farmers say.

“If the minister is talking about local elections, everyone is aware of how local elections are won when a party is just into power. They better see what happens in 2024 to their Three Capitals idea,” they add.
