The Curious Tale of TRS and BJP Friendship!

TRS can not join NDA government due to TDP at least for now. But both the parties are giving an impression of getting close to each other several times in the party. At one stage, there are rumours that TRS will join NDA and KCR’s daughter, Kavitha will get a Union Cabinet berth anytime.

While TRS and BJP are maintaining cordial relations at the Center, Both the parties are not getting along with each other at the state level. The other day, PMO had canceled the appointment given to the all-party delegation on SC Reorganization. TRS is firing salvos on BJP State Leadership alleging that they have prompted PMO to cancel the appointment.

TRS MP Jitender Reddy alleged that despite extending complete cooperation to the center on issues like Demonetization, they did not even allow Telangana to participate in Republic Day Parade. They also allege BJP trying to stall the Muslim Reservations planned in the state.

Political Experts say that BJP is trying to get the support of TRS in Parliament on various issues while making efforts to grow independently in the newest state of the country. But then TRS can not allow that. TRS will be wary of the fact that BJP is playing a double game.
