Threat to Vijayashanti, Husband

Congress MLC Vijayashanti and her husband have received threats from someone they knew in the past. Her husband Srinivasa Prasad filed a complaint with Banjara Hills police.

Prasad said in the statement that one Chandrakiran Reddy had approached them 4 years back and introduced himself as a social media content creator. He further stated that Reddy had requested the couple to make him Vijayashanti’s social media handler.

Prasad further said that Chandrakiran Reddy worked with them and used them to grow his own business. As we didn’t like his work, we cut ties with him. We knew him when we were in BJP, said Prasad.

He used us to grow in the party. Once we quit BJP, we got a message from him asking to settle old dues. We made it clear to him that there was nothing pending.

However, the matter didn’t end there. On April 6, Chandrakiran Reddy sent threat messages. He said, if Vijayashanti couple don’t settle dues, they will become his enemies. The messages were rather offensive, said Prasad.

Action must be taken against Reddy, said Prasad in his complaint. Based on this, a case has been booked on Chandrakiran Reddy under various sections.
