Time running out for shifting of Offices to AP

Few days ago, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has hinted about shifting few HOD offices to Vijayawada from the next academic year. However the government is yet to release any such order regarding the shifting and arranging offices.

An expert committee already toured the proposed, Agriculture Market Committee Buildings, Medha Towers in Vijayawada; Nagarjuna University, Michi Yard, Laam Farm in Guntur for the temporary offices of the HODs. The committee is of the opinion that Nagarjuna University will need very minor changes to host the HODs while the other buildings will need huge changes and repairs which will take at least four months to complete.

The committee is of the opinion that in case, the government wants to operate there from the next academic year, the government order for the shifting and repairs should come at least by January.
