Kondandaram Arrested

Telangana Opposition Parties have called for Bandh in Medak District over the Lathi Charge on farmers opposing Mallanna Sagar Project the other day. The Bandh is successful and peaceful as people have co-operated. On the other side, the government had imposed Section 144 on Siddipet, Erravalli, and Vemulaghat villages to foil the Bandh.

TJAC Chairman Kodandaram and other leaders arrested at Ontimamidi while on their way to Mallannasagar villages. Kondandaram and other leaders are going there to express their solidarity to the agitating farmers. Kodandaram is demanding that the project should be re-designed as farmers are not favour of giving their lands.

The other day, Telangana Ministers have unleashed yet another all out attack on Kondandaram. However, the T-JAC Chairman went on to say he will take people’s side always and will never talk under the influence of any party. He clarified that he will not care for the comments of the Ministers.
