The government staff who are going to participate in the land pooling in 29 villages of Capital region have started training from today. The training camp began a short while ago under the supervision of Guntur district collector. In this camp, the staff will be fully informed about CRDA act and the land pooling mechanism.
CRDA Special Commissioner N.Srikanth will be directly monitoring these classes. The teams after their training will be sent to the villages to educate the farmers about the benefit of land pooling. The land pooling process will begin from March next year.
51786 acres of land is available in the first phase land pooling villages and the government is targeting to pool in 38000 acres. Three different packages were announced for the land losing farmers in the capital area depending on the number of crops grown in those lands.
