A separate Tribunal will be set up to look into the atrocities by past YSRCP government. A decision to this affect was taken at the politburo meeting of TDP.

Party workers, government officials, teachers and journalists were harassed by YSRCP during various occasions and the present TDP government has decided to look into such cases and bring justice at the earliest.

Also, the crimes on SCs, STs, BCs and minorities will be brought out and the criminals walking free will be punished, the politburo decided. To this end, a special Tribunal to look into YSRCP crimes will be constituted, it was decided.

The politburo directed Home Minister Anita to take action on the Antarvedi chariot burning, removal of head of Lord Rama’s idol in Ramateertham and attacks on other temples. The politburo asked her to pull out the cases and take immediate action.

The politburo meeting was presided by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. The meeting went on for four and half hours at party headquarters. The party discussed manifesto promises and other local issues. Babu took a good one hour forty minutes to discuss the manifesto and what promises were fulfilled till date. He said 60% of the promises have been completed.

The politburo thanked the central government for allocating funds for Amaravati, Polavaram and Vizag Steel Plant. They thanked Babu for bringing home the funds.

They appreciated the efforts of Lokesh for getting 1 crore membership for TDP and lauded Balakrishna and other Telugus for their Padma awards.

Another major decision was taken over Mahanadu which will be held on May 27, 28, 29. On the second day, party general secretary will be elected. On third day, a huge public meeting will be held. For the first time, Mahanadu will be held in Rayalaseema in Kadapa.




Many other key issues were discussed during the meet.
