TRS effortlessly win one more difficult election!

Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti managed to win one more difficult election. Until, 2014 elections, the party never had any presence in Khammam. This is mainly due to the presence of significant Andhra Population. However TRS managed to win the election very conveniently indicating TRS wave in the state.

Telangana Rashtra Samiti managed to win 34 out of the total 50 divisions. The main opposition party, Congress saved face by winning 10 divisions. Telangana TDP which is once very strong here, drew a blank in this election. CPM and CPI managed two each. YSR Congress which has Khammam MP here, also managed to win two divisions.

Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao played a significant role in TRS win here. Tummala, who is once the Senior leader of TDP here, almost destroyed the party from grass root level after shifting to TRS. This he managed to steer the party to sensational victory.
