Telangana Rashtra Samiti had decided that it would not vote in favour of the Private Member Bill put up demanding Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. This is the third change in stance for TRS on this issue. At first, KCR said they would welcome Special Status to AP and then it was changed demanding Special Status for Telangana as well.

Now, KTR has confirmed that they will not vote for Special Status Bill but would only vote for Bill of High Court division. One thing had to be observed here that TRS is not willing to support the interests of Andhra Pradesh and the question is how it can ask for AP to support in high court division which is more of Telangana’s need now.
The co-operation between both the states have to be mutual but then TRS is proving to be different. In such case, if both the states pursue their own agendas, Center will not care for the demands of both the sides. The sooner the state governments realize that, the better it would be.
