TRS wants TRC to shift to Hyd not AP

andhra telangana hrd It had become quite common for both the Telugu states to fight over one thing or other since the state division took place. And new controversy is regarding the shifting of the Classical Telugu Research Centre (currently located in Mysore) to AP or Telangana. The shifting of the Research Centre was taken during the United State.

HRD Ministry scouted for a temporary location for the center in 2013. The then Kiran Kumar Reddy government had agreed to provide five acre of land for the centre, but political uncertainty prevailing then stalled all those plans.

Andhra Pradesh government is taking up the issue with HRD ministry to bring the centre to the truncated state while Telangana argues that Hyderabad is the right place for the Research Centre as the city will serve as common capital of both the states and will continue to be the centre of activity on Telugu language related issues.
