It is known that Telangana government has decided to revamp all the existing infrastructure of the Police in Hyderabad and Cyberabad limits. Director General of Police Anurag Sharma and Chief Minister together finalized the new vehicle designs for Police Department.Two models of cars one meant for Law and order patrolling and another for Traffic and Highway patrolling are selected. The blue model with police logo is for law and order and the other is for highway patrolling.
The law and order car and bike design was done by one Mr Gopi Fakeera and another design was done by Ibrand India, a design company based out in Hyderabad. This work was executed and supervised by the Administrative Staff College of India. These vehicles will be fitted with GPS and Tablet PC besides barlights, siren and PA system for effectively carrying out their duties.
