Eatala-Rajendar-KCR-Revanth-Reddy

KCR is contesting two constituencies – Gajwel and Kamareddy. Revanth Reddy is contesting Kodangal and Kamareddy. Eatala Rajender is contesting Huzurabad and Gajwel.

This is the first time in history that three CM candidates are each contesting two constituencies per head.

Back in Vajpayee regime, there was a proposal two restrict those in government should not contest in two constituencies. This was in 1986. But this move didn’t pass and as a result, there was no restriction.

So, there candidates contesting two constituencies each means there is scope for multiple re election as if a candidate wins two seats, he will have to hold one and leave the other. KCR, Revanth, and Eatala are looking to enforce the same.
