TT male coach & female player fight caught on CCTV

Coaching a team is a huge responsibility and can you imagine that Chattisgarh State Table Tennis Association has appointed a 19 year old male coach for training Table Tennis players (female) for the 76th National Cadet and Sub-Junior Championship in Rajahmundry. A CCTV footage dated 26th December, 2014 showed the coach dragging one of the players and fighting over a mobile phone.

The player cum coach was suspended and the secretary of Chattiagarh TT Association resigned on moral grounds for sending the coach to Rajamundry, AP. Table Tennis Federation of India is looking into the matter and has consituted a three member committee to probe further to find out the truth.

This matter reached TTFI through media when a player’s father got the video and circulated it to the media. The physical confrontation of the male coach and junior female player seen in the video isn’t anything indecent but a fight over a mobile phone clarifies the secretary of TTFI Dhanraj Chowdary.
