TV9 Biased Coverage On AP Exit Polls

Gone are the days, when TV Channels would do surveys in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. For this election, we did not see a single Telugu News Channel do a survey.

Only TV9 due to its presence at the National level published a survey through a tie-up with another Agency, Poll Strat.

The track record of this agency is not known, and it is not famous.

Meanwhile, the coverage of TV9 appeared completely biased.

While other TV Channels were at least discussing Surveys of all agencies, TV9 had a big debate about AARAA Masthan’s Survey which is the only agency that gave a chance to the YSR Congress.

And it is the only Channel besides Times Now with a National media presence that gave a chance to the YSR Congress.

Times Now Survey is anyway expected because its Survey Partner ETG Research is owned by Avinash who works at the AP CMO. We can easily understand its biasedness.

TV9 has become a bigger mouthpiece for YSR Congress than Sakshi ever since its ownership changed. That is clearly visible even in the Exit Polls.

Our readers may be reminded how TV9 brought the same AARAA Masthan to the Studio even before the Polling concluded in Andhra Pradesh and tried to influence the voters that are in the queues and voted until the midnight.
